Glossary:Net enrolment rate

The net enrolment ratio is the number of boys and girls of the age of a particular level of education that are enrolled in that level of education, expressed as a percentage of the total population in that age group.

For example, the pre-primary education net enrolment ratio (is the number of boys and girls of pre-primary school age that are enrolled in pre-primary education, expressed as a percentage of the total population in that age group.
