The ENRD Contact Point and the Spanish Rural Network Support Unit co-organised the 16th NRN Meeting in Calatayud. This meeting focused on the state of play of preparations for the design and setting up of the new CAP Networks under the post 2020 CAP, as well as any challenges and potential solutions.
The 16th NRN meeting was followed by a workshop NRN facilitation techniques for stakeholder engagement on 4 March.
To prepare the ground for future CAP networks, there is a need to reinforce the connections between the activities of rural networks with those of farming stakeholders both at EU and national level.
The 15th NRNs’ meeting – co-organised with the French Rural Network support unit – explored the development and connection of territorial strategies used; and provided space for discussion and an update on themes proposed by NSUs. Participants exchanged on methods used in facilitating stakeholder participation in NRN activities.
The event took place in Poitiers, France, on 19 September, followed by a meeting of the French Regional Rural Networks and a field trip to French EAFRD co-funded projects on the 20 September.
The 13th NRNs’ meeting explored ways of reinforcing stakeholder engagement and enhancing collaboration among network members, including on the topics of post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), Smart Villages and Generational Renewal.
This ENRD workshop brought together representatives of the National Rural Network (NRN) support units to explore ways of effectively identifying, collecting and disseminating project examples and good practices.
The 12th NRNs’ meeting – co-organised by the Estonian Rural Network support unit – discussed ways of improving the Networking section of the ENRD website, specifically looking at the NRN Toolkit.
This ENRD workshop brought together Network Support Unit (NSU) representatives dealing with rural development communication tasks, to exchange on and improve communication activities at both the national (NRN) and European (ENRD) levels.
The 11th NRNs’ meeting – co-organised by the Czech Rural Network Support Unit – brought together nearly 70 participants from 24 Member States, representing 27 NSUs.
