Die OPG führt eine spezielle Wertschöpfungskette zur Bereitstellung von Schweinefleisch mit herausragenden Qualitäts- und Genusswerteigenschaften aus regionaler Erzeugung für Metzgereien, Gastronomie sowie Betriebs- und Gemeinschaftsverpflegung ein.

The operational group is introducing a special value of pork with outstanding quality and enjoyment values from regional production for butchers, caterers and canteens. The following aspects will be considered and, if necessary, worked on:

Description of activities (native language):

Die gen. Grundlage bilden die Schweinerassen Dt. Landrasse u. Dt. Edelschwein. Spez. Qualitätseigeneschaften im Fleisch werden durch Einkreuzung alter Robustrassen generiert. Die Haltung der Tiere erfolgt nach Tierschutz-Standards u. auf Grundlage einheimischer GVO-freier Futtermittel. Die Schlachtung erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung v. Tierschutzaspekten u. Erhaltung der Fleischqualität. Die Fleischtechn. Prozesse werden auf die Erzeugung v. Premiumprodukten ausgerichtet. Die Prozessqualität und die Produktsicherheit werden auf allen Produktionsstufen gewährleistet u. transparent gemacht. Es erfolgt ein Marketing zur Imageverbesserung von Schweinefleisch.

Description of activities (in English):

The gentic foundation is based on the Deutsche Landrasse und Deutsches Edelschwein. Crossbreading with old robust breeds will create specific quality features of the meat. The animals ar kept in line with animal welfare standards and with indigenous GMO-free feed. Slaughtering is carried out with regard to animal welfare standards and looking for high meat quality. The meat technology processes are aligned to production of premium products. Process quality and product safety are ensured and made transparent through comprehensive data collection and integrated data management at all stages of production. Specific marketing measures will improve the image of pork.
