Statistics Explained:Alloweduser

An alloweduser is a user (with userid created by first login and possibly user page) with editing rights in Statistics Explained; logging in does not automatically confer editing rights!

There are two ways to enter the alloweduser group:

• Eurostat staff when first logging in are added automatically to 'alloweduser' group (and removed manually when leaving Eurostat, but userid and userpage are maintained, for the accuracy of history page);
• all others, including non-Eurostat European Commission staff, can be added manually if they need to be able to edit in Statistics Explained (see tutorial on access and rights); these are mainly external contractors, contacts in national statistical institutes or in other European Commission DGs.
