<General discussion of the statistical (sub)theme in terms of:

• the interest in collecting these statistics for society or specific purposes, including EU policies
• the use of these statistics, in general and for specific user groups
• the history of the data collection, what went before;
• the future developments to be expected.

All very generally and briefly, recommended length 5 paragraphs and 30 lines at most.>
